About Me

Hey You!

My name is Sandra and I am a freelance writer and blogger living in the Bay Area. Notes from the S Life is a blog about daily wins and fails (sometimes epic fails) with beauty and food finds sprinkled in. We recently went from a family of 3 (husband, wife, dog) to a family of 4 with the awesome addition of our daughter. She’s turned our lives inside out and upside down. Although this is not a mom blog, it does talk about that little mini-me who has managed to steal my attention with that cute smile and the word “mama”.

Things you should know:

I was born and raised in Texas (hey y’all!) and getting used to life in the Bay Area. The 3 bins for trash is confusing.

I am quirky, imaginative and a “little” weird at times.

I’m a new mommy of a beautiful daughter who has taken over my every day.

Being in the beauty business has made me a total product junkie and can often be found with new samples or stealing hotel amenities (shhhhhh).

I’m a food lover so finding new, undiscovered places to eat makes me happy.

I’m a creative being by nature and drawn to things that are unique.

I live with my wonderful husband, daughter, and lazy as can be beagle dog.

About Notes from the S Life:

I started this lifestyle blog as a creative outlet while working in the marketing corporate world doing spreadsheets and budgets. Then one weekend with Oprah changed everything.

In my little corner of the internet, I blog about daily finds and life tips as well as stories about a Texas girl living in the Bay Area (What the Hills Y’all).

    • Thank you so much! There’s no template for the introduction, think about what you would tell others about yourself and your blog and go with that. Thanks for reading!
