The fab five is posted every Friday to end the week on a happy note and features items on my radar that I’m loving right now. Who knows, you might find something that could be on your fab five list!
This has been a big week, but this weekend is even bigger. My husband has his beloved 49ers going to the Superbowl (exciting!), my mom comes in this weekend for the week before my sister’s wedding (woah) and next weekend is the big day. So many things to come I can’t wait!
On to this week’s fab five:
Doesn’t this look AMAZING?? This is from the blog How Sweet It Is (who also took this picture). Hurry, someone make this so I can try it!!
2. Bad Lip Reading NFL
This is hilarious. My husband (the football fanatic) showed this to me and now when I see a football game I recognize the players by what the video lip read. “Orange peanut? I accept you”.
3. Les Miserables
Loved this movie! I have not seen the play (I know, I know) so I have nothing to compare it to, but this movie was awesome. All I can say is that when Anne Hathaway sang “I Dreamed A Dream”, I lost it, which is why this soundtrack needs to be in my collection. That is all. The trailer is even intense. Oscar worthy for sure.
4. Middlesome Moth
This is a really good hidden find in the Design District for those of you that live in Dallas. The menu is creative and extensive enough to satisfy all palettes. I really wanted to take pictures of all the food and do a whole blog post but I was with friends that night and thought it would be too awkward. I’ll save that one for next time If you plan on going, make reservations as it does fill up. The burger and humus are fantastic! I’ve also heard their brunch is one to try

I know, I know I had to do it. They’ve been so nice to Justin this year. He’s been happy that they’ve been winning games and even made it to the Superbowl this year. HE. IS. GOING. For the first time in 18 years the 49ers are in the big game and it just so happens his cousin is a rookie player for the Ravens (the OTHER team) and was able to get tickets. So please, 49ers, can you win this one? I’ll give you a cookie
That’s it for me, have a great weekend everyone! I’ll be cooking up some red beans and rice and hanging out with family for the big game. Do you have any plans? If you’re not a football fan I’m going to let you know in on a little secret: Beyonce is performing at halftime. That’s reason enough to watch right? I think so.
